Owner/DentistDr. Ivette Sanchez, DMD, is the owner and lead dentist at Smile District in Miami, FL. Born and raised in Cuba, Dr. Sanchez moved to the United States at age 22 in pursuit of a better life and a world-class education. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Biology from Florida International University and earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine from Western University of Health Sciences. Dr. Sanchez is the recipient of the American College of Prosthodontics Predoctoral Achievement Award and the International College of Dentists Student Humanitarian Award. Her passion for dentistry extends beyond the office, as she has volunteered at dental clinics, community healthcare events, and the Special Olympics, reflecting her commitment to compassionate service and giving back. As a dedicated lifelong learner, Dr. Sanchez continually advances her expertise with extensive continuing education in cosmetic dentistry, full mouth rehabilitation, dental implants, aesthetics, occlusion, dental photography, and facial aesthetics—including Botox and dermal fillers. She is a proud member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, and several local study clubs. Renowned for her skilled, meticulous, and gentle approach, Dr. Sanchez delivers comprehensive care encompassing preventive, restorative, cosmetic, surgical, implant, and pediatric dentistry.
