  • Maria Alvarez

    Doctor

    Dr. Alvarez earned her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from U.N.L.P, Argentina and did an internship at Tuskegee School of Veterinary Medicine. She has been practicing in the Miami area since 2003 and is fluent in both English and Spanish. In addition to working in private practice, Dr. Maria is a professor for the Miami-Dade College Veterinary Technology Program. She is married and has 2 daughters, 3 dogs, and 2 cats. Her priorities in life are her family and veterinary medicine.

    Dr. Luis Alvarez earned his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from U.N.L.P, Argentina and did an internship at Tuskegee School of Veterinary Medicine. He has been working in the Miami area since 2003 and is fluent in English and Spanish. His special interests include internal medicine, surgery, and dentistry. Dr. Luis Alvarez has completed multiple dentistry training seminars and labs. He is married, has 2 daughter, and many pets. On his time off he enjoys to travel with his family.

    Ashley has been a part of Country Walk Animal Hospital for 10 years. She was born and raised in Miami, Fl and has always had a passion for animals. She began her work at Country Walk when she was 15 years old as a technician working with all patients and assisting the Doctors with whatever they needed. After several years of practice in the veterinarian field, she became the practice Manager. Educating the clients of Country Walk has become her passion and helping to deliver the best care is what she strives for. Ashley currently owns two Pembroke Welsh Corgi's named Leia and Oreo. They enjoy taking walks, daily treats, and playing catch. On Ashley's free time, she enjoys traveling, shopping, salsa dancing and going to the beach.

  • Joseph Marchan

    Head Vet Tech

    Joseph came to Country Walk Animal Hospital when he was 19 years old and has been with us ever since. It has now been 6 years since he joined the CWAH family and his love and drive for animals has helped him grow and become an exceptional technician. He enjoys knowing that his care for our patients is what helps make a difference in the health of all your furry pets. He hopes to one day further his education in the vet field or in nutrition. Joseph's main hobby is fitness and he is currently in training to compete in multiple fitness competitions.
